I had many wonderful conversations with Mildred throughout the years at the Fairfax Post Office. She was always so happy and friendly. I am grateful having had the opportunity to know this fine lady.

To the Fairfax "family, especially husband Don and Brother Bob,Mildred inherited strong genes and with good upbringing was graced with wonderful socialization skills and that great "Wilken" laugh. She was a Fairfax gal from beginning to end and the time between was spent filling her "bucket list" with wonderful life experiences. I know she'll be missed by all that knew her. Hopefully, Cousin Billy can locate and play an early tape recording of Mildred interviewing (holding court) of gathered family members. Yes, the angels that preceded her are assembling the welcoming reunion as well as preparing that wonderful, mouth-watering "chee-borek communion". I can hear the laughter and chatter from above. God bless you all!

To Don, Bob and family, and to all that loved Mildred, God's blessings of peace and comfort. Mildred truly was a blessing to all who met her. Her warm smile and infectious laugh will be with us always. Truly appropriate is Titus 1 verses7-8: I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept my faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of of righteousness which the Lord will give me on that day...God be with Mildred's entire family.

Brother Bob. husband Don and other members of the inner circle know Mildred was one of 'the bestest of the best'--hence a most lovable person. Like her Mother Carolina and Rebecca she became good at making "chee-borek". And so she used this "chee-borek" event as a kind of communion when we visited. We who remain will miss Mildred--but we should not feel badly for she conducted herself well during this life and hence we can be joyful. Mildred's spirit is now eternal and for that--we should feel glad.
