Sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. My mother Ruth Denker Eppenbaugh used to speak of him and the family (Mom & siblings) visted with him when they went down to Bonesteel. Mom has been gone now 12 yrs. in May.It's sad to see all the older ones passing and with them all the history that they lived and had to share. And Allen Dale wasn't even one of the older ones.My grandfather, John Denker, was such an historian. What these family members knew was priceless.Blessing & comfort to John's family at this time. With condolences...Jeanne(Eppenbaugh) Iversen 8205 Red Deer Rd. Rapid City, SD 57702

God's grace and love to the entire Schonebaum family, and dear relatives-John was not only a cousin I looked up to but truly a very talented person. I loved to hear him play the violin, and accordian. He was my model as I also played in several bands myself. John touched the lives of many people. He led an amazing "story-book" life. His beautiful smile and great personal touch will live with us forever. GOD's PEACE

Cousin Johnny's obituary extends across a lot of landscape. He is the only one amongst the Denker first cousins that remembers our Grandparents..for they passed on early. Johnny lived on his own place and in his own house until well into his 90's...when he was 90 it was claimed he could still climb a tree! Likely, everybody in the neighborhood has had some interaction with Johnny...which-- had to be mostly good. His surviving family can feel good about knowing-- not only did he have a long life...but it was ahad good life.
